Classic Dials Pvt. Ltd. is a pioneer in quality wrist watch dials manufacturing in India. It came into existence in 1991 and has since established itself as key vendor to all the major watch manufacturers in the country. Mr. S.C.Jain, the managing director has been in the watch industry for the past 28 years. It was the vacuum and difficulty in procurement of quality watch dials which he faced during his tenure with a major watch manufacturer that prompted him to start this venture.
Classic Dials is a part of his vision to create sustainable growth by being an industry champion.
Business Overview
Classic dials is built on a strong foundation of core capabilities, assets and extraordinary people. We have manufacturing units with installed capacity of 6 million dials Per Annum. The facilities share a total built up area of more than 35000 sq. ft. with air conditioned lacquering, printing, assembly and packing departments. We have evolved over the years and are self sufficient with regard to all the tools involved, manufacturing of all types of indices, logos adding to our capability to give quality product on time.

Our Capabilities
- Dial manufacturing involves a no. of steps right from the concept stage to the final product manufacturing.
- Independent
R & D section responsible for faster new sample development and
regularly introducing new finishes and processes hence adding value to
our customer’s products.
- Design
section is ably handled and responsible for making drawings, artworks
for printing, press patterns, tool drawings etc. as per customer
requirement with support of latest computers and high resolution
printers.
- Planning
and production control is the backbone of any industry. Our PPC is
responsible for scheduling the materials, keeping track of different
intermittent tools like cliches , screens, blanking, piercing and press
pattern tools.
- It
manages the shop floor control activities keeping track of movement of
dials & indices through different processes thus ensuring on time
delivery to our clients
- We have in house cliché and screen manufacturing facility.
- Best
tool room facilities with a combination of high precision conventional
and non conventional machines, namely CNC milling, jig boring, jig
grinding, precision “Schaubling” lathes, tool & cutter grinders,
Pentograph, diamond lapping, conventional milling, lathe, surface
grinding, drilling machines, in addition to the heat treatment process.
- Press shop is diverse with power presses ranging from1.5t,5t,10t, 20t,60t,100t…….
- We use a combination of direct spot welding and ammonia cracker furnace welding for variety of finishes.
Surface finishing and electroplating department is capable of producing a bouquet of finishes:
- Sunray
- Vertical, horizontal & cross brushing
- Etching
- Sandblasting & Bdl
- Silver plated, nickel plated, black plated…..
- Different gold plated finishes…….
- Lapped , ceramic finish, satin finish
- 2,3 & 4 tone finishes
- Mirror finish.
